Evertrace first detected a signal of company formation for co-founder Karl Kiilaspää in October 2025. Kiilaspää was building bilt.me with Uku Joost Annus and Kevin Akkermann. He had previously been CTO at Menova, bringing mobile software experience to the new company.

What they're building

Building a mobile app involves more than designing a few screens. A product also needs infrastructure for testing, payments and deployment before it can become a business.

bilt.me helps users move from an idea to an iOS or Android application. Alongside app generation, it has developed its own supporting cloud, payments and sharing tools to make the process easier to manage.

The round

Superhero Capital led the $700,000 pre-seed, with backing from Bolt founder Markus Villig and Lightyear founder Martin Sokk. The funding will support further platform development and global expansion.
