Evertrace first detected a signal of company formation for co-founder Edoardo Arbizzi in October 2024. Arbizzi had worked at Bain on manufacturing and procurement projects before starting Compri with Edoardo Gava. The company formation signal connected that experience to a new business focused on how manufacturers buy and manage supplies.
What they're building
Procurement teams often manage suppliers and purchasing work across emails, spreadsheets and enterprise systems. Information is spread out, and routine follow-ups take time away from decisions.
Compri brings those sources together and uses AI to support purchasing workflows. Its platform helps teams turn supplier and operational data into useful actions while automating repetitive work.
The round
Picus Capital led the €3.2 million seed, with participation from Shapers, Italian Founders Fund, DFF Ventures and private investors. The funding will support product development and international growth, bringing Compri's total funding to more than €5 million.
