Claudio Consul founded Conlio in Berlin in 2023, after senior operations and product roles at sennder.
What they’re building
Every road freight transport creates a trail of documents, from CMRs and proofs of delivery to carrier invoices. Forwarders must check that these are complete and correct before they pay carriers or invoice customers, and the documents come in many formats and languages.
Conlio uses AI to turn these documents into verified data and to automate the financial workflows that follow. The company says it can automate more than 90% of freight document checks, catch overpayments and speed up invoicing.
