Evertrace first detected a signal of company formation for co-founder Michiel Van Lerbeirghe in April 2025. Van Lerbeirghe had previously been General Counsel at ML6. His move into Duely brought legal and AI experience together in a new business, alongside technical co-founder Michiel De Koninck.
What they're building
M&A transactions involve reviewing large volumes of contracts and other documents. Buyers, sellers and advisers need the findings turned into useful legal work, rather than another set of software alerts.
Duely delivers legal due diligence and related services directly to clients. Its AI handles document analysis, while legal experts review and take responsibility for the output. Clients buy the work itself, rather than software they have to operate.
The round
Scalefund and Golden Egg Check led the €1.1 million round, joined by ML6 and business angels from technology and M&A. The funding will support product development and the expansion of Duely's services across Europe.
