Evertrace first detected a signal of company formation for co-founder Hussnain Ahmed in September 2024. Ahmed had worked in senior data roles at Rayn and UPM. At ekai, he was building alongside Moatassim Aidrus and Tero Miikki, bringing that enterprise data experience into a new company.
What they're building
An AI model may understand a term like active customer without knowing how a particular business defines it. Different definitions can produce different answers from the same underlying data.
ekai starts with the people who own those definitions. Its platform turns their knowledge into data models and validation rules, checking the result against the company's data before it is used by analytics or AI tools.
The round
Misneach led the $1.7 million pre-seed, with participation from C10 Labs. The funding will support product development, commercial growth and deeper integrations with enterprise data platforms.
