Evertrace first detected a signal of company formation for co-founder Baybars Külebi in December 2024. Külebi had been Engineering Manager at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. Together with Jorge Palomar Giner, he was turning research from the centre into a company focused on evaluating AI systems.
What they're building
A working AI demo does not show how a system will behave when users ask unexpected questions or a workflow goes wrong. Teams need realistic scenarios to find those problems before deployment.
Galtea generates testing data and simulates scenarios to evaluate the quality, security and behaviour of AI agents. It gives developers a way to test edge cases and measure whether an agent is ready for production.
The round
42CAP led the $3.2 million seed, with participation from Mozilla Ventures, JME Ventures, Masia and ABAC Nest Ventures. The funding will help Galtea grow its engineering and commercial teams and develop its testing platform.
