On 22 September 2025, Evertrace detected a stealth signal for Jalal Bouhdada. Jalal was in stealth, working on something new. That was 395 days before Indurex's funding announcement.
Jalal Bouhdada previously founded the industrial cybersecurity company Applied Risk, which was acquired by DNV. Indurex's co-founders include Maarten Oosterink.
What they’re building
Industrial sites run control systems and safety systems that IT security tools do not fully understand. Indurex's SafeGuard AI combines engineering, process and safety data with cybersecurity intelligence.
It takes in data from industrial control systems, safety systems and IT security tools, and uses AI agents to surface anomalies and engineering deviations. It serves operators in oil and gas, energy, utilities, manufacturing and data centres.
The round
Contrarian Ventures led the €7m round, with Axeleo Capital and Curiosity. Indurex will use the funding for research and development and to bring its Engineering Intelligence capability to more operators of critical infrastructure.
