What they’re building
Shoppers often cannot find a product with keyword search. With Loops AI, shoppers describe what they need in plain language, and the system matches it to the retailer's catalogue and rules.
It also offers a shopping assistant, customer operations tools, product data enrichment, virtual try-on and voice AI. Clients include Mavi, Boyner and A101 Ekstra.
The round
a16z speedrun, NTT DOCOMO, Connecticut Innovations, Monday Capital and Alumni Ventures invested in the $3.5m seed round, together with angel investors from Netflix and Google. Loops AI will use the funding to grow product and engineering, win more customers and expand internationally, starting with Japan, then Germany and Europe.
