What they’re building
More people now ask AI assistants for help with buying insurance. Marrow provides a standard infrastructure layer that connects insurers' pricing, underwriting and policy systems to AI agents and assistants.
Its protocol lets insurers sell through AI-driven channels while they keep regulatory control, disclosures and record-keeping. Marrow has published the AMI Standards for AI-led insurance transactions.
The round
Insurtech Gateway led the $2m pre-seed round, with Seed X, Leo Capital, Portfolio Ventures and angel investors. Marrow will use the funding to grow its team in London, bring on more insurers across retail and commercial lines and continue to develop the AMI Standards.
