Evertrace first detected a stealth signal for co-founder Sandor Felber in July 2025. Felber was in stealth, working on something new after humanoid robotics research at MIT CSAIL. A later company formation signal in December 2025 connected him to Minerva Humanoids by name.
What they're building
Some industrial and public safety jobs still require a specialist to enter a dangerous environment. Minerva is building a robot that can take that physical risk while leaving the person in control.
Its humanoid, Roger, combines remote operation with an AI layer for movement and navigation. The focus is on supporting skilled operators in hazardous workplaces, rather than requiring them to be physically present.
The round
General Catalyst led the approximately $10 million pre-seed, with Long Journey Ventures and Credo Ventures as co-leads. The funding supports hardware and AI development as Minerva prepares its first paid pilots and further deployments.
