Evertrace first detected a signal of company formation for founder Michael Cassau in July 2025. Cassau had previously founded Grover. The company formation signal pointed to his next venture in road freight, months before NexDash announced this investment from EIT Urban Mobility.
What they're building
Replacing a diesel truck is only one part of making electric freight work. Operators also need access to capital and a way to manage routes, vehicles and energy together.
NexDash combines those pieces through an integrated logistics business. It buys mid-sized trucking companies and uses its NexOS platform to manage their operations as the fleets move to electric vehicles.
The round
EIT Urban Mobility's €2.5 million investment is a pre-Series A commitment securing its participation in NexDash's upcoming Series A. The funding will help convert fleets and expand across the company's core markets, following its acquisition of March Transporte.
