On 22 May 2026, Evertrace detected a stealth signal for Daniel Volz. Daniel was in stealth, working on something new. That was 153 days before RhymeQ's funding announcement.
Daniel Volz previously worked at BASF and Kipu Quantum. The founding team also includes Tamás Varga and Christina Wu.
What they’re building
Programming a quantum computer usually needs specialist knowledge. RhymeQ's Rhyme is an abstraction layer that lets developers with basic Python skills write and debug quantum code.
Its compilers translate the code for several quantum processors, so users depend less on one hardware provider. Rhyme is compatible with NVIDIA's CUDA-Q platform.
The round
Ground State Ventures led the $2.2m pre-seed round, with Vanagon Ventures, Plug and Play and Freiraum Ventures. RhymeQ will use the funding to grow its engineering team, develop its enterprise platform and build a global developer community.
