On 25 June 2026, Evertrace detected a stealth signal for Thorvald Thorsnes. Thorvald was in stealth, working on something new. That was 112 days before Solvera's funding announcement.
Thorvald Thorsnes previously co-founded the energy software company Enode. Solvera's other co-founders are Arif Mirza and Pål Rasmussen.
What they’re building
Solvera does not sell software or bill hours. It delivers engineering services from start to finish, from the first requirements to construction-ready designs.
Its operating system gives a growing share of the tasks to AI agents, while human engineers make the key decisions. Solvera starts with MEP engineering and already works on projects in Norway, including with Betonmast.
The round
Seedcamp led the $6.3m pre-seed round, with Construct Venture, Inception Fund, Momentum, Obos Ventures, PSV Tech, Sondo and The Nordic Web Ventures. Solvera will use the funding to grow its engineering and technology team in Oslo, open a London office, develop its operating system and enter more markets.
