On 11 April 2026, Evertrace detected the first signal of company formation for Romain Mazeries. That was 195 days before Weflayr's funding announcement.

What they’re building
Companies that use several AI models need to decide which model to use for each task. Weflayr builds an intelligent routing layer that selects and orchestrates models per request.
It benchmarks models on a company's own production data and automates routing decisions on quality, speed, cost and data location.
The round
13books Capital led the $2.5m pre-seed round, with Founders Future, Kima Ventures, Plug and Play, Station F Ventures and angel investors including Roxanne Varza. Weflayr will use the funding to grow its engineering and AI research teams and support growth across Europe and the United States.
